Jacava Too Hot To & MoYou Stamping

I had a VERY EXCITING delivery at the weekend! I was expecting a polish from Jacava - I wasn't expecting SIX!

Aren't they BEAUTIFUL?  Someone at Jacava has been keeping an eye on my blog, because all these colours are right up my street! It was hard to know where to start, but I plumped for the dark red metallic one, Too Hot To.  This is two coats, with the Jacava topcoat.

Oooooh! There are no words!  The difference between the photos from my light tent (diffused white light) and the photos in my bathroom (direct yellow light) are pretty stark! Neither is entirely accurate. It's possibly slightly less glowy than the bathroom photos, and more glowy than the light tent photos. But it's gorgeous all the time.

I wore this for a day at work, and it lasted perfectly and looked stunning. As usual with Jacava, the formula is wonderful - smooth and even, applies beautifully and dries easily.  And I love the Jacava brush - the long handle is great.

The topcoat is great too - it's not officially a quickdry one, but it did dry quickly, and was lovely and smooth and shiny.

After work, I decided to try out some stamping with the gold polish, Smooth Liquid Gold.

I stamped with Smooth Liquid Gold and MoYou London plate Pro XL 01. The gold is lovely, and works perfectly for stamping.

I added another coat of topcoat to protect this for another day. I'm confident it would last for several days by the way, I just usually change my polish because I get impatient!

You can buy Jacava polishes from their website here. They usually cost £11, but they're currently having a sale, so you can get 50% off if you spend £22! There are loads of new colours for spring 2014 - all these polishes are from the new releases.

These polishes were provided for review purposes, but all opinions and words are my own. See my Disclosure page for more details.
